Hi, I’m CJ Dewey—a Los-Angeles-based designer with Jersey roots and a lifelong love of fashion. What started as an obsession with GQ magazine and weekend trips to SoHo became a full-on design journey, shaped by years in retail, visual merchandising, and an unshakable passion for personal style.
I cut my teeth on sales floors and styling gigs before becoming a visual merchandiser for the iconic (and now-gone) Daffy’s department store. From folding denim with precision to dressing mannequins in runway-inspired looks, I learned just how powerfully clothing can tell a story. Over the years my own style has traveled from preppy to goth, athlete to urban streetwear, landing in what I call the “Californian Urban Cowboy” era—a mix of humor, edge, and ease that defines the brand.
What Inspires Me
Individuality, confidence, and the art of not blending in. I pull ideas from cultural tastemakers like Virgil Abloh, Pharrell Williams, Jeremy Scott, and classics such as Ralph Lauren and Tom Ford. Fashion should be expressive, fun, and just a little unexpected—whether it’s a bold graphic hat, a laid-back hoodie, or a statement jacket.
